This spring has been a trying time for all of us, and we hope you and your families are all healthy and safe. We are excited to announce that we have been given the clearance from Governor Cuomo and the Department of Health to reopen our doors.
Even though we have been apart the past few months, we have been thinking of you. Our beautiful office, in the historic Lindsay House, has gone through an extensive deep cleaning with updates inside and out. Our priority with these changes has been safety for both patients and staff. We have devised specific protocols and done extensive training with our staff to deliver the safest and best experience possible. We are proud of what we have accomplished and assure you there is no safer place to meet your cosmetic and reconstructive needs.
To reach our office, please call our office number at (585) 244-1000. One of our amazing receptionists is looking forward to answering your call and scheduling your appointment.
After an appointment is scheduled, a member of our staff will be in contact with you a day or two before your appointment and will ask some screening questions to be sure it is safe for you to keep your appointment. If anyone in your household is sick, is experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat, we can reschedule your appointment. If you are sick or have been sick with COVID-19 or any other illness, we are requiring you to be symptom-free for two weeks and then we will see you for your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, we ask you to:
- wait in your car until we call you to let you know we are ready for you. A staff member will meet you at the door, check your temperature and oxygen level, and escort you directly into your exam room.
- come alone (no visitors are allowed at this time).
- wear a mask as you enter the office.
As you enter the office, you will notice:
- plexiglass protective barriers at our front desk on the 1st and 2nd floors
- hand sanitizer placed throughout the office
- installed HEPA filtration systems in each of our examination rooms
- enhanced cleaning and sterilization procedures throughout the entire Lindsay House
During your visit, you will also notice the staff will be wearing personal protective equipment, or PPE, which includes eye protection, N95 masks, and safety gowns to continue to keep you safe. Although it may seem our usual warmth towards you is lacking behind all this protection, we assure you that is not the case. Your safety and the safety of your loved ones is most important to us.
We are committed to giving you, our patients, an unparalleled, uplifting experience at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery. We have raised the bar to exceed safety standards, abide by social distancing and give you an experience that surpasses your expectations. We look forward to seeing you soon and being #togetheragain!
In health and wellness,
Drs. Quatela, Koenig, Lee, and Amalfi
I recently underwent revision of breast reconstruction I had had in 2008 because I was concerned about how the implant seemed to have changed. Dr. Amalfi was reassuring and respectful throughout. I’m more than pleased with her skill and, yes, artistry; I was also extremely impressed with the entire staff. All were considerate and expert with their own specialties (from administrative duties through more medical expertise). I am now relieved to have had state-of-the-art plastic surgery, and, frankly pleased with my appearance — I still care about that even though I’m “middle-old” :). Thank you, thank you!
Thank you for your review of your experience!
