What’s a typical day for you?
5 am workout
6 am shower
7:30 am surgery (3-4 cases; my favorites are rhinoplasty, facelift and otoplasty procedures)
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Always a surgeon, for as long as I can remember.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Fly fishing, music, astronomy, gardening.
What is your favorite thing about Rochester, NY?
It’s a great place for families and is located on a major body of water. All we need to worry about is a little bit of snow. No earthquakes, tornadoes, forest fires, hurricanes, mud-slides, only a little bit of snow.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Crooked pictures on the wall.
Do you have a favorite book or movie?
Hamilton, self-help books
What is one thing you think that everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Volunteer because the rewards far exceed the give.
What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
To continue striving for surgical excellence and grow the reach of HUGS.

Thinking about the 3 positive things that happened the day before.
What is your favorite and least favorite food?
Favorite: Spicy Thai, Szechuan, Mexican and Italian
Least Favorite: (this relates to consistency) yogurt and oatmeal
